Maritime Archaeology
Professional Diving Services provide assessments and advice on all maritime heritage projects. In addition to our consulting services, PDS also supply fully qualified and highly experienced scientific divers and specialised systems to undertake maritime archaeological surveys and excavations.
Since our inception, PDS have also developed a close working relationship with maritime archaeology government agencies, museums and consultants.
PDS have been involved in a variety heritage projects including an maritime archaeological surveys and excavations throughout Australia and the Pacific including, Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Marshall Island and Norfolk Island.
Professional Diving Services also work closely with the US Military’s Department of POW/MIA Accounting Agency providing services to projects related to the search and recovery of missing World War 2 servicemen.
