Pile protection & rehabilitation


Professional Diving Services completed pile protection and rehabilitation of timber piles at Princes Pier for the Department of Transport and Planning (formally Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions). The works included WSCAM survey of over 800 piles and the rehabilitation of 438 piles. Repairs included Denso 70 Series, Denso 400 Series, pile splices and maintenance of existing systems.
Divers also completed removal of potentially hazardous piles from the heritage listed pile forest to ensure the safety of the marine traffic in Port Phillip Bay.
