Pile Protection and Rehabilitation

Professional Diving Services have extensive experience and a proven track record working on pile protection and pile rehabilitation projects. Professional Diving Services are approved Denso, Petro Coating Systems and Hychem agents. We invest a lot of time and financial support into the trial and development of new systems.

Professional Diving Services have been working with Denso Australia in the research and development of pile protection systems and products for a number of years. This has included recent trips to Denso North America in 2011 and early 2013 to develop and test pile repair systems currently in use overseas, but have yet to reach Australian shores.  In November 2011 Professional Diving Services and Denso Australia hosted a seminar and practical workshop on pile protection and strengthening systems aimed to introduce some of these new systems to Asset Owners and Engineers.

Professional Diving Services has conducted pile surveys and reporting on thousands of piles throughout the Port of Melbourne, Port of Geelong, Port of Hastings, Port of Portland as well as major and minor Ports throughout southern Australia. Professional Diving Services has recently completed works at Appleton Dock where over 4,700 lineal metres of Denso 70 Series and over 1,400 lineal metres Denso 400 Series systems were installed. This work and the previous surveys conducted over the past two decades has given Professional Diving Services a wealth of knowledge into the pile condition and rehabilitation works enabling PDS to offer its proven experience and track record for the works.

Large scale projects Professional Diving Services have been involved in using pile strengthening and pile replacement systems on timber piles have been Princes Pier, Geelong Ports, Appleton Dock and Gellibrand Pier.
