Beacon Cove Pile Repair Works

Professional Diving Services completed the refurbishment of the boardwalk and building piles at Beacon Cove located near Station Pier, Port Melbourne.  The building and deck had subsided and surveys identified piles which have failed and were in need of repair.  PDS were engaged to provide solutions which included jacking and supporting of the building back into its original position and rehabilitation of the supporting piles.

Structural solutions included epoxy filled encasements and pile splices which allowed the supporting beams to be lifted back into alignment.  PDS delivered a successful outcome working closely with ARUP as the superintendent, Port Phillip council and business owners.  The works were also completed with minimal impact to public access and local business.
