ADAS Commends PDS’ All-Female Dive Crew

Professional Diving Services’ diverse range of diving works which includes scientific, aquarium and underwater construction, now also includes a three year maintenance contract with Taronga Zoo in Sydney, headed up by an all-female dive team.  PDS is committed to the development of Australia’s commercial diving industry by offering a diverse range of commercial diving employment opportunities and first-class occupational diver training through our sister company Professional Divers Training Academy (PDTA).   

In recent years, PDTA has seen an increase in female occupational diving students, and we are proud of our all-female dive team doing a great job at Taronga Zoo.  This highly qualified team whom hold a range of qualifications from scientific to supervisor and Part 3 (SSBA to 50m) certificates, is tasked with the daily ongoing below-water maintenance of the seal and penguin habitats.
