Professional Diving Services at Eden wood chip mill

Professional Diving Services have been engaged by SEFE (South East Fibre Exports) for pile rehabilitation works at Eden Wood Chip Mill upgrading the corrosion prevention systems on vertical 22 steel piles.

Works include removal of HDPE sleeves from the entire length of each pile, the installation of 44 sacrificial anodes, underwater welding of steel patch plates, supply and installation of Denso pile protection and epoxy encasement systems to the 22 vertical piles and all steel bracing. Works are being conducted from PDS work vessels and decks constructed for access under the wharf.
